BEACON OF CHANGE
Testimonials from those who have been helped by South American Beacon Project.

It took Lance Riek seven years to get to Sol Mountain Lodge. He first reached out to owner Aaron Cooperman in 2004 when the lodge opened. He hoped that someday, he could bring his family—young daughters included—to SML, to ski with Aaron, his wife and their two kids. The trip finally happened last March, and Lance gives his full account from the Monashee Mountains in the November issue of Backcountry.
