Tester Quick Takes Day Three: Gear Test Week 2018

It’s Gear Test Week 2018, and as the sun blazes down on Powder Mountain, Utah, testers charge through the latest and greatest skis, boots and bindings for this coming season. To get a preview of some of the exciting sticks and kicks for winter 2018, we will be catching up with testers slope-side to hear about their daily gear selects.

Today we highlight the La Sportiva Vapor Nano and the K2 Talkback 96 that testers Colin Coulson and Stefanie Campbell took for a rip.

What he said: “I thought is might be a little short for me as I am 6’3″ and weigh 200 pounds, but the ski performed wonderfully. It was super snappy and amazingly lightweight. Wonderful in the trees, with quick transitions. And skis busted crud and slush just fine.”
