The 12th annual Backcountry BASECAMP tour, presented by Flylow, brings the beta published in every issue of Backcountry Magazine to resorts across the U.S.
From the Northeast to the Tetons, the Wasatch to the Front Range, Backcountry Magazine joins local guides, forecasters and avalanche instructors for a series of pop-up festivals featuring gear demos, avalanche education, guided tours and a huge raffle benefitting a local nonprofit.
BASECAMP is a resort-based celebration of all things backcountry. Join us!

Stop 6: Wild Corn Backcountry Shindig, King Pine, Masidison, NH!
Saturday, April 5
For our final stop Basecamp stop we’re headed to King Pine Ski Area in Madison, NH for the Wild Corn Backcountry Shindig, happening this Saturday, April 5. Wild Corn has something for everyone, whether you’re new to uphill touring or a seasoned backcountry enthusiast. This is a total mountain takeover where ALL the lifts are shut down creating a backcountry ski resort for your enjoyment. If you don’t have uphill gear, there are tons of demos on site for you to try, from boots to skis to split boards. Join us for endless uphill laps, live music, contests, giveaways, dance parties, great food and drinks, and more.
