That’s a super nice photo, it’s great that it features a rocking female skier, and personally I love Grant Gunderson’s B&W work. But I’m confused as to why it’s “photo of the day” – it’s an older photo, and not representative of current conditions at Mt. Baker, where the snow situation is currently bleak (as it is across all of the Pacific Northwest). Perhaps to keep hope alive for the still-upcoming season?
